The Office
Our role as a leader in sustainability intersects our practice of sustainability in the office. We strive to maintain an environment that meets or exceeds the standards of the USGBC LEED O+M rating system. Although we function under many of the guidelines for LEED O+M today, we plan to apply for the LEED O+M Certification after relocating our offices in 2010.
Our adopted practices include the following:
• 100% Green Power
• All Electronics meet Energy Star Rating
• Sustainable Purchasing Policies
• Energy Efficiency – 100% Flourescent Fixtures with Automatic Controls
• Water Efficiency - Dual Flush Toilets and Low Flow Fixtures
• Repurposed Office Furniture – Old Doors and Retail Fixtures become Desks and Tables
• Composting
• Recycling/Reuse Program – Everyone has a Recycling bin but there is only One “Trash” Can
• And More…
