LEED Project Manager

Location: Virginia Beach, VA

2D Innovations is a LEED consulting firm based in Virginia Beach, VA. We are a full service green building consulting firm. Our services include LEED consulting, grant research, spec writing, and sustainable development services. We are able assist the owner, developer, architect, or builder in any area of sustainable development. We primarily apply our professional green building experience to the the USGBC's (United States Green Building Council's) Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design or LEED rating system. 2D Innovations consultants are able to ensure our clients a more successful and effective LEED effort.

Position

2D Innovations is seeking a LEED AP to manage the LEED certification process for multiple projects. The LEED AP will be responsible for managing the LEED certification process, including: running design charrettes, educating and supporting the project team on the requirements of LEED, providing technical support, and managing the online-certification process. The individual will be required to effectively communicate LEED requirements and associated strategies to project owners, consultants, and team members.

Qualifications

The applicant must have a proficient knowledge of the design and construction industry. At a minimum, the candidate needs to be passionate and anxious to learn this exciting industry.

The ideal candidate would have a solid understanding of the building design and construction process, posses strong written skills, proficient with spreadsheet, word processing applications, and CAD.

Compensation: Salary is commensurate with experience.

Part-time positions available as well.
